Nate Hill is a performance artist who has a very unique approach towards his art. He has several performances that are memorable; one of my personal favorites is Punch Me Panda. He walks around in a large panda costume and asks pedestrians to punch him. He s wearing a chest protector and has boxing gloves. It looks funny and every time I see him I laugh. His purpose is to help people with their day, if you’re angry, frustrated, or stressed take it out on the panda.

From what I've seen of performance art, or I guess art in general tends to be about something the artist is trying to communicate, whether it be an emotion or a message. What I find interesting about the "punch me panda" is that it encourages the audience to express and release their emotions instead

This is ingenius. I loved it. I showed my sister while I was watching it and I even watched both videos. Performance art to help others is amazing. To give others a chance to take out frustration on his is not insane like some think, I find it extremely nice. Art is its own form of...well everything. There is no mold and no one should shove it into one. I think that this is a good way to show that it is not one set thing, that art can be anything. Loved it. Thanks for showing this.
