Artist bio
Ever since I was young I was encouraged by my grandmother to embrace my artistic side. She still paints today and even had one of her pieces archived at the Smithsonian. Growing up she was the one that really planted the seed that lead to me being as art oriented as I am today. I work with digital art most of the time, but more recently I have been trying to improve my drawing skill in order to become a concept artist.. I specialize in photo manipulation and Photoshop, sometimes I will be sitting at home and I will see a picture that looks nice and I will say to myself “What would she look like with red hair and blue eyes?” and then I do it. I really love bright vibrant colors in my works, especially vivid reds and blue together because they contrast so nicely. I have an artist that really influences me and who I follow with great interest. She is a woman named Tessa who goes by the online alias Meekakitty. She mainly does youtube videos and while the majority of her videos are quite humorous, her serious videos have so much going for them. I really enjoy her vision and one thing I love about her is she will often post videos of what all went into making her videos. I feel like seeing the process is half the fun! Her videos can be found at the bottom under Meekakitty.
