Greg Dampier is a graphic design artist that does logos, illustration, branding, photography, comics, and t-shirt designs! He actually has quite a wide selection of work that he does, ranging from design and logos for blood donations to ones for sporting events and school events. He has a pretty diverse selection of work that he does for design. I also like how he has a wide range of color palettes that he uses in his work. HIs varied colored schemes from work to work does not allow the buyer or viewer to ever become bored with his work. He has a very cool and effective website where he shows and sells his varied work. The works I chose to share below range from sports t-shirts (Mainly The Buckeyes) to blood drive logos regarding the U.S Blood Banks. -Amena Kamel

Oh man, I really like this logo! Not just because I love anything and everything that has to do with Hawaii and vacations, but because the artist executed the project very impressively! I love the change in mass as the design moves downward and the color choice is very old school and appealing. It really shows all that has to do with an island and vacationing, both the good and the bad (i.e. awesome surfing and annoying bugs :P). I'm also a fan of how the artist wasn't afraid to fade the design; it just reminds me of old, loved shirts that I would wear as a kid. Awesome find!

Thanks! I know what you mean, I used to wear t-shirts like that as a kid all the time! I really like Greg's style as well, definitely reminds me of the older shirts. In a way, his designs are more simplistic than others, but that's why I like it so much. :D

Oh, wow. The color palette for the first one feels kind of retro. I really like the elaborate designs he has. He manages to pack a lot of detail without it encroaching on the main focus of the design. His text seems to fit right in with little problem, and that kind of seamless-ness is very attractive. I kind of laughed at the last one though, because of the “Your blood bank name here!” text placeholder. Haha.

I love these especially the 1st and 3rd pictures. They remind me of some boys graphic shirts you can find almost anywhere. The images are some what "vintage" but at the same time its modern. He chooses his colors and what he puts into each image very well.
