My audio piece is meant to tell a story through sounds. The theme of my piece is a battle between man and machine. I am fascinated by the technology we have now a days. I figure it's only a matter of time before we have robots used in our daily lives. In my piece it walks you through the rise of the machine and the machines taking over.

I like how it is progressive in the beginning, just building off of eachother and adding new sounds. I also find the pause just before the takeover very effective. "game over" is also nicely done. Putting that in a new context instead of a playful game used for entertainment finishing, it is life ending. Technology taking over the world isn't such a far fetched idea since we are already to that place in the world where technology can talk to us and understand. The one thing I have though is that I do not know what the machine is saying in the very end. That might just be me though. Nicely done.

At around 40-50 seconds I can hear this generic "AUUUGH" guy scream. I love the sound bytes of people screaming that are so often used in movies because they're kind of hilarious. Also, the fact that it is a recurring scream (although it's very subtle and the intervals are well-spaced) makes me imagine him as being that guy who keeps getting shot at but lives. Other than that, this is spliced together very well and I wouldn't change anything. It's a neat concept.

I really like how this is put together, it transitions really well and has clean, neat layers of sound. I could really imagine the people running around, trying to save their lives from the takeover of the robots. It sounds like a clip from a legit videogame or movie. Personally this completely freaked me out, and it actually freaked out my dog too. When I played it the dog's head jolted up and she kept looking around panically. So, well done! You scared my German Shepherd! Haha.

I really like how well the sounds blended together. I liked that it started out with a simple telephone ringing. It made me feel like I was in a cubicle working and then the transformer like voice came on and it was like I stepped into a transformer movie! It was definitely kind of cool and creepy.

I really like this piece and how it progresses, I think it tells the story you were trying to portray really well. It is kind of eerie and creepy but that's what you are trying to show people so I think it worked out well!

I really like how this goes from really nonthreatening sounds to a little louder, and then CHAOS. I was literally picturing scenes from the terminator throughout the entire thing, and it fit them perfectly.I found it interesting that 3/4 men in the class did horror pieces (with me as the exception).

I really liked your audio piece, this is very action packed. The sound of the robots and the explosions really made it exciting even though you could not see what was happening. It was almost like a movie going on in my mind. Very great piece!

I liked this project being that it kind of went with my last poster. I can definitely understand the whole man vs machine concept well. You did a good job of put the sound clips together too.

I absolutely love your audio! I can definitely see this being played in an office setting as a prank, the quality is amazing so it would be a really fun and believable project to do! The best part is the lady screaming hahaha it gets me every time! Great job :D

I really like the fluidity of the piece, I don't feel like there's any point in the clip that is lagging in substance or that seems to drag on. I like how it goes from simplicity to chaos, almost as if it's a progression. I also enjoy the noise clips you chose. I feel they all relate to each other well.

You did a great job weaving and layering different sounds together to create a narrative. It's very reminiscent of radio drama, I can imagine this being played alongside War of the Worlds as a trick
